Private equity · Lower and mid-market
The read a large fund keeps on staff, when you need it.
Few lower and mid-market funds can justify a full-time data and AI operating partner. Your companies still get pitched the same AI agents and copilots as larger ones, and every pitch assumes the data is fine. We’re the independent read on each proposal, company by company, on a fixed fee agreed before we start.
Starts with a 30-minute call. Commits you to nothing.

Real sample
See the memo a portfolio company would receive. A full Truth Score Read on 72,837 records in 7 exports from CRM, finance and HR. It scored 59 out of 100, Band C, significant work needed: 823 finance customers with no CRM account, and only 13% of deals reconcile to invoices.

The challenge
Same AI proposals, smaller bench.
Lower mid-market companies get pitched the same AI as larger ones, with thinner data teams to check it. A fund this size may have no data specialist to ask, and a hire to sit idle between decisions doesn’t add up.
The alternatives are letting each company self-assess or trusting the vendor’s view. Neither holds up in front of an investment committee. This is the market we’re built for: companies of roughly €20M to €500M revenue, with an AI decision on the table.
The capability, only when a decision needs it.
How to read the card above: a Truth Score™ is a score out of 100 for how far the data can be trusted. Beside it is a Leverability read (which AI plays the data can run now, after fixes, or not at all; nothing to do with debt). Each play sits next to the target in the plan that leans on it.

Questions
Asked plainly.
What investors in this strategy ask before a portfolio company sends a single export.
Book the callWho pays: the fund or the company?
Either. A fund can commission the first read; AI Value Tracking is always bought by the company’s own leadership. Every fee is fixed and agreed before we start.
Do we need to commit the portfolio?
No. Start with one company and one decision. Judge us on one memo, and stop there if it doesn’t earn the next one.
How much management time does it take?
A 30-minute call, one person running standard exports, and a walk-through call when the memo is ready.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee, agreed before we start, that never moves with the verdict. It is a small fraction of the proposal it tests; if it wouldn’t be, we’ll tell you on the call. Our first clients get a founding rate in exchange for a private reference call once they’re happy with the work, only with their consent. We never name a client, fund or target publicly without written consent.
