Private equity · Buyout and control
You bought control of the company. You inherited its data.
The value creation plan leans on AI plays that assume one view of the customer, sub-ledgers that tie and payment terms in the ERP. Nobody has checked whether the company you bought works that way. We test the plan against its own systems, play by play, so the first 100 days start from evidence.

Real sample
See the memo a portfolio company would receive. A full Truth Score Read on 72,837 records in 7 exports from CRM, finance and HR. It scored 59 out of 100, Band C, significant work needed: 823 finance customers with no CRM account, and only 13% of deals reconcile to invoices.

The challenge
The plan assumes data the company doesn’t have yet.
A buyout inherits whatever the previous owner built: a CRM and a finance system that may never have been set up to agree, and perhaps a monthly reporting spreadsheet run by one person. The AI plays in the plan quietly assume those systems already agree.
You have the mandate to fix it, but not the time to find the gaps one quarter at a time. A read in the first 100 days says which plays the data can carry now, which need named fixes, and what those fixes take.
The plan is only as good as the data it assumes.
How to read the card above: a Truth Score™ is a score out of 100 for how far the data can be trusted. Beside it is a Leverability read (which AI plays the data can run now, after fixes, or not at all; nothing to do with debt). Each play sits next to the target in the plan that leans on it.

Questions
Asked plainly.
What investors in this strategy ask before a portfolio company sends a single export.
Book the callCan you work before we close?
Yes, from data-room exports and with the seller’s consent. See data diligence for how we handle consent and clean-team rules.
Who owns the result after close?
The company’s leadership. The memo and the roadmap are written for management to act on and to share with its board, the fund included.
Will you help deliver the value creation plan?
No. We test the plan and write the fix list; management, or any firm it chooses, does the work. We take no referral fees, commissions or margin from whoever does.
Can you read the company before we sell it?
Yes. A read on the systems the buyer’s diligence will open, early enough to fix what can be fixed. See before the exit.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee, agreed before we start, that never moves with the verdict. It is a small fraction of the proposal it tests; if it wouldn’t be, we’ll tell you on the call. Our first clients get a founding rate in exchange for a private reference call once they’re happy with the work, only with their consent. We never name a client, fund or target publicly without written consent.
